KSH Apps ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Hero's Discount Tracker mobile application and this website (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as:

• Email address (when you join the Android waitlist or create an account)
• Your hero category, if you choose to provide it (first responder, EMT, firefighter, law enforcement, active duty military, veteran, or family member)
• Discounts you voluntarily submit to share with the community
• Savings entries you record in the in-app calendar
• Receipt images you choose to scan with the camera (Pro feature)

We also collect certain information automatically when you use the Service, including device information, usage data, and app performance metrics.

2. Receipt Scanning

The AI receipt scanning feature processes the receipt images you choose to capture in order to identify potential savings. We do not scan your photo library, and we do not access your camera unless you open the scanner. Receipt images are used to provide the feature to you and are not sold or shared with advertisers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Display and verify community-submitted discounts
• Maintain your personal savings calendar
• Send you launch notifications and important updates (if you opted in)
• Respond to your comments and questions
• Detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity

4. Community Submissions

Discounts you submit may be reviewed and published within the app so other users can benefit from them. Submitted discount details are visible to other users. Your email address and personal savings data are never displayed publicly.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, analytics, and email delivery)
• Law enforcement when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
