These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Hero's Discount Tracker mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by KSH Apps ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

The Service is intended for use by first responders (including firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and paramedics), active duty military service members, veterans, members of the National Guard and Reserves, and their families. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent discount information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users of the Service

3. Discount Information

The discounts listed in the Service are provided for informational purposes only, and many are submitted by other users. We strive to keep discount information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that any discount is currently valid, available in your area, or applicable to your specific situation. Always verify discount eligibility directly with the participating business before making a purchase.

Businesses named in the Service are identified for informational purposes only. Their inclusion does not imply any partnership with, sponsorship of, or endorsement of KSH Apps or the Service.

4. User Submissions

Pro subscribers may submit discounts to the Service for other users to see. When you submit a discount or other content to the Service, you grant KSH Apps a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Service. You represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to submit it, and that it does not violate any third-party rights. We may review, edit, or remove any submission at our discretion.

5. Receipt Scanning

The Pro receipt scanner uses automated text recognition to read receipt images you choose to scan. It is an aid, not a guarantee. It may miss savings, misread amounts, or return inaccurate results, and you are responsible for verifying anything you rely on. See our Privacy Policy for how receipt images are handled.

6. Pro Subscription

Hero's Pro is a paid subscription tier available at $2.99 per month. Pro includes the ability to add discounts to the app, the in-app savings calendar, and the AI receipt scanner. Browsing discounts does not require a subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your app store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled per app store policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property in the Service are owned by or licensed to KSH Apps, except for third-party marks, which remain the property of their respective owners. You may not use, copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Service without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Hero's Discount Tracker is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense, any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces, or any government agency, fire department, law enforcement agency, or emergency medical service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KSH APPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.
